The Huron Area CommunityTheatre is proud to present a Diner Thatre showing The Friendly Hour on Sunday, July 28th, by Tom Jacobson.  The play is presented by the Northern State University Theatre Department and directed by Dan Yurgaitis. The actors for this play re students of  Northern State University.  The Friendly Hour is based on ACTUAL minutes of a wome's club called "The Friendly Hour" (that was formed in Beresford, SD in 1934.) This poignant comedy charts 70 years of personal and national history, from skinning skunks and julebukking when the tale begins, to restoring the native prairie in the new millennium. Join these fascinating women as they laugh, cry, navigate the difficult changes in their relationships and share their lives at the "friendly" month gathering.
